# NeuroSync Sovereign OS

> A local-first, zero-trust AI agent orchestrator. Runs as a single Node.js process on
> the user's machine. Schedules background agents, routes requests across local and
> free-tier LLM providers, and stores all state in a local SQLite database (WAL mode)
> rather than a third-party cloud service. All AI-proposed actions require explicit
> human approval before execution.

Status: pre-alpha, under active daily development. Not production-ready. Safe to try;
expect breaking changes between commits.
